Peter Boyle better known for his portrayal of Raymond's dad on Everybody loves Raymond died Monday night from multiple myeloma and heart disease. He was 71 years old. What a loss, he was hilarious in Raymond and he was also great in the mel brooks film young frankenstein.

| Yeah, my Lydia cried today when Raymond came on. She loved Peter Boyle. He was really funny!Hate to see him gone.

| I heard about his death too. I knew he had heart troubles, but I didn't expect him to die this early. It sucks to see another great Hollywood actor pass away. I wish his family the best.

| Isn't is sad how many great actors die before their Time is up? It makes me miss John Candy, John Ritter, Gilda Radner, Chris Farley, Phil Hartman and countless others.
