I know that most of you probably haven't heard of it... and if you have, you probably don't know that much about it.
Most people say that it's just a show about a bunch of kids fighting. And they'd be right... mostly. Gundam Wing, both the series and the movie, is actually very insightful... I think that's the right word. It's about peace and war, and about the politics, religion, and beleifs that fuel war and peace. I won't go into detail too much, but it focuses on how war brings about peace and such. The picture they paint... it's a little romanticized and idealistic... even a romantic like myself knows that ultimate, complete, and global pacifism is likely not ever to happen.
Any one who likes these kinds of movies/shows should really watch the show... and the movie, Endless Waltz, as well.
And anyone who likes Transformers should at least check it out, though it's not that much in common cept for maybe the mecha's they use.
And yes... it is a Japanese Anime.... but a really good one.
