"Autobots, Transform and Roll Out!" Thats one of Optimus Primes famous quotes from the television show The Transformers. This early 1980's cartoon hit the big screen in 1986, after hitting big with their toys.
The Transformers movie takes place in between seasons (I forget which seasons, but I'm sure it's between 1 and 2, - if not, it's 2 and 3). The movie shows all our favorites from the show, such as Bumbleebee and Ultramagnus. The movie starts off with a giant planet that is floating in space and eating everything in site. Even worse, those evil decepticons are still up to no good and are making plans on an attack on the Autobots. That attack eventually leads to the death of Optimus Prime.
Without a leader, the Autobots hope and faith are dwindling, unless a new leader can emerge and use the power of the Matrix to save everyone. It isn't easy though, as the Autobots have to fight against upgraded Decepticons (Unicron gave them more power). Can a new leader emerge in time to save the world? Or has the Autobots met their match with a transforming giant planet? These questions and more will be answered by watching this movie.
The movie had plenty of ups, and plenty of downs. The ups were all the cool looking transformers, especially the dinobots. However, the down about this is that most transformers had short roles (Jazz was in the movie for like 5 seconds!). Also, the music is kind of funky (well, probably in today's standards. Back then it was probably cool). The movie has plenty of action, and will definately bring back a lot of nostalgia.

| Princes, the movie that is coming out in july is live action, the movie this review is referring to is the cartoon movie that came out in 86.

It's cool...the robots are cool...actually when this movie wasn't in the theater yet my brother always told me that he want to watch this movie, that's why I got interest in the movie...And his right the movie will guarantee your pleasure...
