Runtime 90 minutes.
The voices in this animated movie where: Wil Smith as Oscar, Angelina Jolie as Lola, Jack Black as Lenny, Renee Zellweger as Angie, Robert De Niro as Don Lino, Martin Scorsese as Sykes,Ziggy Marley as Ernie, Doug E Doug as Bernie, Vincent Pastore as Luca, and more.
Oscar the fish worked in a whale wash at the bottom of the reef and always dreamed of moving to the top. He hussled all the time and ended up owing his boss loads of clams. So Angie who was in love with Oscar gave him her grandma's pink peral, he got $5,000 for it, but ended up betting it all at the seahorse race. And lost it all. So his boss sent his goons to take care of Oscar. Then long came sharks!!
Will let you watch it and find out the rest of the story on Oscar. It was great!
Great family movie that taught a lesson as well, you can't pick and chose your family, love them for what they are. Also you don't need to be on top to be a somebody and be loved.

| The first time I saw Shark Tale I was seriously disappointed and really though that Dreamworks was not going to be able to live up to Shrek. I had overlooked buying the film since it came out and picked it up a few months ago. The 2nd time I watched it I kicked myself in the butt for not giving it a 2nd chance sooner, it really is a good animated film... Granted it will never compare to Shrek or disney films but its an entertaining film. 3 1/2 stars

It might be funny to some, but it also sends a negative message to the younger audience about different cultures.
But for me I really enjoyed this movie.

| I like how the movie created the characters with a distinctive similarities with the featured voices of Hollywood actors/actresses - esp. Lola (Angelina Jolie's lips) and Don Lino (Robert De Niro's mole)
