Before watching this movie, I thought this movie was basically going to be an extension of the tv show, or basically three simpsons episode put into one.  However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was not, and it was indeed a full-fledged movie itself.

The movie obviously stars the Simpsons family.  The city of Springfield is polluting a lake, and Lisa decides to do something about it.  However, even with her best efforts, Homer goofs up, and his pollution in the lake causes a natural disaster.  It forces the government to place a giant dome around Springfield.  With the giant dome, no one can get in or out, and this really ticks off the citizens of Springfield, and they decide to take out their anger on the Simpsons clan.  The Simpsons find a way to get out, and then they try to figure out a plan to save their city, before it gets blown up.  Can Homer find a way to fix up his latest mistake?  Or has he screwed up big time?

The graphics for this movie is better then the cartoon series itself.  One of the funniest scenes in the movie occurs near the beginning, where Homer and Bart dare each other to do stunts.  Homer dares Bart to go to Krusty burger naked.  I won't say what happens exactly on Bart's ride to Krusty burger naked, but there's definately a scene you won't expect (and should be rated R by all means).

The only other thing about the movie is that the movie started off really funny, but the laughter did die out as the movie went on (and got a little more serious).  The movie altogether is good, and heck, you should even watch the whole credits scene.  There's some good stuff left there too.  My score: 3.5 stars out of 5.

I couldn't imagine they will come up with the movie, though it's a long wait, well it's worth watching anyway.Battle-1.gif
