In a faraway land called Duloc, the midget Lord Farquaad (John Lithgow) has banished all the fairy tales from the land so it can be as boring as he is. But he didn’t count on a green, smelly ogre with a heart of gold named Shrek (Mike Myers) and his faithful steed, Donkey (Eddie Murphy), who will do anything but shut up trying to stop him.  In order to get his land back Shrek must rescue Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) from the castle and bring her back to Duloc. The movie is a delightful adventure with a touching ending.

We all loved Shrek, it was a hoot, especially that Donkey, he had me rolling in laughter. "I'm so alone"

What I loved about Shrek was that it wasn't afraid to be different. It basically turned the fairy tale kingdom upside down. I mean, just look at the ending. Shrek kisses the princess Fiona, and instead of becoming "beautiful", she becomes and stays an ogre. I mean, who would have seen that ending coming? Donkey is pretty cool too. He's a funny sidekick.

Its great, its got jokes in it that little kids don't get because little kids aren't supposed to get them. Its a great family film...

I don't know how good part three will be, part two wasn't as good a s part one, and you know how sequels always get worse
