Release: 1984
TagLine: If Nancy doesn't wake up screaming, she won't wake up at all.
Main Cast:
Heather Lagenkamp: Nancy Thompson
John Saxon: Lt Thompson
Robert Englund: Freddy Kruger
Johnny Depp: Glen Lantz
Amanda Wyss: Tina Gray

Plot: Nancy Thompson is a typical kid growing up in a clean california suburb. Her life is shattered when she starts to have horrendous nightmares in which she is stalked by a monstrous cold blooded killer. When she shares her nighmares with her friends they start to die one by one in their sleep. Nancy is determined to stop this monster before he kills her too.

Review: Great movie with a good amount of blood in it. Freddy is one of the most likeable horror characters because he has personality.
This is my fav horror movie.

Classic movie, this used to scare the crap out of me and I never ever would watch it at night alone. "1, 2 Freddy's Coming For You" talk about someone who used to hate that song would be me if you wanted to get me all scared just start singing that. Now that Im older I can watch the movie at night lol and not be so afraid. Its still a great movie just as good as it was back then.

This movie scared the jeebies out of me when I was a kid. Even now, this movie scares me. However, the a lot of the later sequels seem more like comedy then horror. I hate watching this movie alone by myself at night. Ranks second on my favorite horror list (right after the Exorcist). The quote the scares me the most from the movie is when Freddy says "I'm gonna kill you slow." Spooky.

Im sure this movie has scared a lot of people over the years, its still creepy to watch now but Im not so much as scared anymore like I was. My favorite line from the movie and the line that I say all the time is "Whatever you do, don't fall asleep", I play around with my roommate all the time and we will be like Whatever you do, don't fall asleep or this or that will happen. This movie never gets old and is one of those movies that every generation should watch and enjoy.

Another classic movie, Freddy Krueger rocks the silver screen, I like to watch all the series again.
