Tremors is listed in several genres, Horror,thriller, mystery, sci-fi, comedy, action, adventure, but will pick horror.
Has my oldest daughters favorite actor in the movie, Kevin Bacon, also starring in it was Fred Ward,Reba McEntire,Michael Gross, and more.
Starts off with Kevin Bacons character and his buddy trying to leave town, but get to a block, and strange things start to happen, a guy is atop of a utility pole dead, a car buried in the sand, and lots more. Then Kevin and his buddy run into a lady taking ground sound survey, forget the name?? But she thinks its earthquakes, but its much more than that!

| This movie freaked me out when I was younger, the things that are under the ground were hideous. Guess I'll have to look for a copy on DVD.

| yeah this is one movie that got to me as a kid, they messed it up after 2 though. I used to catch this on tv every now and then but I havent seen it on in a long time. I so want to get the boxset for this so I can have that cool looking tremor head that the discs sit in.

| My oldest has them all on DVD and still watches when they show them on TV. She is in love with Kevin Bacon! lol, she is crazy!

| I know they play them on Sci Fi alot but I dont normally watch movies on TV. Not crazy Kevin Bacon was and still is somewhat of a hottie

The monster in the movie can find people by noise they make.
They had some kinda bombs that the smell chased them away, or maybe the smoke?

yeah the noise it what helped the tremors out, they couldnt see so Kevin and the other guys would be up on the big boulders or like how they were telling everyone to get up on the roofs of their houses/stores and be quiet

I like the first sequel of this movie, those giant creature under the surface was really cool...I was wondering if from what species they belong??? maybe in earthworm??? A giant earthworm???
