These people inherit a house from there uncle and they have to stay one night for it to be turned over to them I think, kinda foget details, lol. But anyways, the uncle was a very wicked man and the house was very high tech and had ghost locked up in it. 12 and he need a 13th one to complete a ritual. This movie was lil more gore than scary had a lot of ghost that died in horrible ways trying to kill the people. The house was like a maze and made of glass and?? It was a weird unique house, lol. Had too many dumb factors that all movies have. But was o.k. if you didnt try to figure it out.

| Perhaps I should not be writing about this movie, since I never actually saw it. The little bit I did see in previews gave me absolutely no desire to see it. However, I loved the original black and white version of this movie, which was released in 1960. In the original 13 Ghosts is quite different. In it a family who is strapped for cash inherits a house from an excentric uncle, but to keep it they must live in it. Soon they learn that the house is haunted by the 12 ghosts that the uncle had spent his life collecting. Movie goers' fright was hightened by being able to see the ghosts in 3-D by wearing special glasses. I consider the original to be a classic. This remake sadly is like so many new versions of old, classic horror and sci-fi movies which rely so much on blood and guts, graphic violence, and/or vulgar language. In my opinion the remakes of such films, including The Fly, 13 Ghosts, and The Thing, are mere shells of the originals and don't do them justice.

This movie is really weird but it's nice...I can say that it's weird because in reality whose crazy will going to build a house like that...On the otherhand it's cool because it's really scary...

So what's the difference with the story of this one and the classic? I found the plot the same.
