Arachnophobia (1990)

Synopsis
Hollywood Pictures and Amblin Entertainment deliver an electrifying rollercoaster ride of a movie! Everyone is afraid of something... for Dr Ross Jennings (Jeff Daniels), his phobia is downright embarassing. But when he moves his family to a small town, the one thing that bugs him is now threatening the townspeople at an alarming rate. For this unlikely hero, overcoming a childhood fear of spiders might just save them all, but it may already be too late! Another one of those "we're going to take your fear and multiply it by 1000 just to hit you where it hurts" type of movies, well that’s if you are afraid of spiders and actually suffer from arachnophobia. The movie is actually pretty good but I guess Im just a little scary cat because I can not watch this movie without my flesh starting to call. I get all itchy and stuff watching those creepy little spiders crawl around. Maybe it’s the fact of knowing that they are so small and can get on me and crawl anywhere on my body that just freaks me out.

| My biggest fear is getting bit in my sleep, it scares the living crap out of me! I'm not a big fan of bugs, as a matter of fact I got into my first (where I was the driver) car accident because of a fire ant just a few years ago.

| I loved this movie! Was terrified, I hate spiders too. Well, Jess it can happen. I was bit in my sleep by a Brown Recluse spider. Stayed sick for over 9 months. Have a discolored place the size of a saucer on my hip, wih a 1 inch round scar in center. I fell asleep in floor at my grandparents after they had just cleaned atic ou that day.

This would be pretty much the only horror that scares the absolute sh*t out of me. I hate spiders anyways, and I could only just deal with them before watching this. but now... *shiver* urgh!
For that reason alone I'll give this a 7/10
