Cast: Nicole Kidman as  Grace Stewart : Fionnula Flanagan as  Mrs. Bertha Mills Christopher Eccleston as  Charles Stewart : Alakina Mann as  Anne Stewart
James Bentley as  Nicholas Stewart : Eric Sykes as  Mr. Edmund Tuttle
Elaine Cassidy as  Lydia : Renée Asherson as  Old Lady
Gordon Reid as Assistant :Keith Allen as  Mr. Marlish
Michelle Fairley as  Mrs. Marlish :Alexander Vince as  Victor Marlish
Ricardo López as Second Assistant:  Aldo Grilo as Gardner

This movie was great without all the blood and guts and shock scenes. Grace Stewart moved into a haunting looking mansion with her 2 young kids who had some sort of disease that prohibited them from being in light. She was waiting for her husband to join them from the war II I think it was? Anyways they had to keep the creepy castle dark to prevent pain to the children. That setting in itself was idea for a ghost story! They where joined by 3 new hired hands to replace the ones that had disapeared week before. The mystery grows deeper and changes on you. I was sleepy the 1st round and had trouble following. So best to watch this wide awake and pay atention.

The twist at the ending is really great! Very well executed that it sent goosebumps all over my skin. I never imagined that they are "the others" if you know what I mean...
