One of the many sequels to TCM, this one explains how this twisted family got started in their macabre tortures. It shows how and where Leatherface was born ( how strange in the slaughterhouse of course). His mother dying and how he was adopted by the family.  I saw this one when it first came out and I thought the gore and special effects  were very good. It made my teeth grind and I found myself jumping in my seat.  The end of the movie made it seem like there was going to be another sequel, who knows?

I guess I'm the odd man out in this movie. I didn't think this movie was good. The original remake was better (the one with Jessica Beal). This movie did have it's moments, but still, I thought the whole thing was predictable. You knew everyone had to die in this movie, otherwise they could have the original movie (if someone survived, then you assumed they told the police, and then the whole story ended). I think you guys might bash me for saying this, but Saw, the Decent, Hostel, and the Hills Have Eyes were all better then this movie .

Now you know noone here is going to bash you for saying that :) I have never seen any of the texas chainsaw movies so for me this was good, of course predictable but plenty of gore.
