This was one of the best adaptations of Stephen King's novels. A group of kids are faced with a terrifying monster that takes the form of a clown named Pennywise (played by Tim Curry). It is up to this group of kids to face the moster and defeat him in the hopes that it won't ever return. A must see for any King fan.

IT

I remember as a kid watching this on tv one day in my moms room, it really didnt scare me all that much but the clown really creeped me out, not enough to make me fear clowns or anything but just like wow that was creepy. We just not to long ago got this on DVD. I dont too much like it once they are all grown up but I still enjoy the movie.

Jeez, blueblade if all you have seen is the Langoliers u r seriously missing out! I recommend all of his films even the ones where the adaptations didnt go smoothly. Two that u must see are The Green Mile & The Shawshank Redemption, both movies are masterpieces by King & directed by Darabont.
