I started watching this film with low expectations because films adapted from video games don't usually work so well. I'm not even sure what to classify this film as since it might scare some but not others, I guess I could say it's more of a suspenseful thriller than a horror A child keeps dreaming of a town called Silent Hill, so her mother decides to take her there. Silent Hill is a deserted town with creatures of all kinds and a few humans left. Although the plot differs slightly from the vg this is one of the best adaptations I have seen and if u like gore and suspense give it a shot but don't expect to be terrified cause it's not something that happens often in this film.

| Maybe I need to watch this again because the first time I fell asleep on it, the second time I really wasnt all into the movie and was pretty much bored with it.

I love this movie...I hate the villager because could they cursed an innocent little girl and killed...This movie is really terrifying...

it has great visuals which is really striking - and the creepy creatures are one-of-a-kind (one of then is the man w/ a pyramid head)

Many of the creatures in the film were played by dancers so they could be flexible enough to create the required disturbing movements.
