In 1975 logger Travis Walton (DB Sweeney) and his crew discover a hovering UFO. Against his coworkers wishes Travis goes over to the UFO and is shot back by a bright light. Thinking he is dead his coworkers leave him but his best friend feels horrible and when he goes back Travis is gone. The gropu has to tell their tale and be crtiticized by the town for the death of Travis, but when Travis reappears naked and bloodied 5 days later things have gotten even stranger.
Dh bought this movie by mistake thinking it was something else, this is one of the few storeis that has not been contradicted and all of the group took lie detector tests and pssed. Really interesting film.

My wife grew up in Snowflake, Arizona where this incident took place and knew the man to whom it happened very well. Take my word for it, everyone who knew him was convinced it happened. The poor guy was never the same after that.
As a resident of New Mexico and a fight pilot for the Air Force Reserves, I've seen many UFOs myself. I have problem taking this account for fact. Very riveting movie. it'll make your hair stand on end.
