The Lake House is a story of 2 people who fall in love through letter writing.. the only problem is they are 2 years apart.. he lives in 2004 and she lives in 2006. I'd classify it more as a fantasy.
My Thoughts: I spent the first half hour of this film wondering how they were going to tie it up at the end, I couldnt get past the fact that it was a movie the whole time thing really threw me off.
After I finally allowed myself to forget the time difference I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and the performances given by Bullock & Reeves. This was one love story that I will watch again, I loved the way it ended and yes I'll admit it I cried just a little.

| If you enjoyed this Hollywood remake, I suggest you watch the original South Korean movie, Il Mare. It is really a nice film.
