Release: 1989

A thrilling underwater adventure that puts a group of divers in contact with a mysterious force that has the ability to change and even destroy the entire world.
Review: For the time that the movie was made in the graphics and effects were incredible. It had a great storyline that keeps you captivated.

I had forgotten about this great movie, another one that I'm going to have to buy for my family! Its also kind of a thriller I'd say.

Only ten bucks?  I might just have to pick it up at that price.

James Cameron did a really great job showing aliens as a beautiful and peaceful beings unlike most sci-fi movies.

This is among my favorite movies.  I highly recommend it.  The water based alien creatures still hold up to today's special effects.  When you watch it for the first time, be sure you see the whole, uneditted version.  I discovered to my dismay that sometimes when it's aired on tv, important sections are removed to allow for room for commercials.  This often can lead to the underlying message of the film being lost.
