Carl & David (Wentworth Miller) where flying with thier dad near some uncharted islands when their plane crashed. The boys swam safely ashore but the ather did not make it. The boys find people on the island as well as talking Dinosaurs. They fit in quit well, but need to find thier way back home. 1 Boy spends his time trying to find a way to escape, the other David joins the acadamy there.
The boys get in trouble for goin in a forbiden cave and they get all sorts of charges against them. Your not allowed to leave Dinotopia or go in the caves and stuff.
The boys escape again to go after some stones that are in the caves, the stones will protect the city. Somesort of sunstones. And the man eating dinosaurs are on the way to destroy the city.
This is a 2 disc movie and was great! They have all sorts of fun, adventures, problems along the way.
