Cast
Meryl Streep ... Miranda Priestly
Anne Hathaway ... Andy Sachs
Emily Blunt ... Emily
Stanley Tucci ... Nigel
Adrian Grenier ... Nate
Running time: 109 minutes

Andy wants to be a journalist but first she needs to find a job. She lands an interview at a huge fashion magazine as an assistant and despite her lack of fashion sense she gets the job. Her boss Miranda is the poster child for the boss from hell, Andy does everything in her power including finding an impossible book manuscript and developing not only a sense but a knack for fashion to impress Miranda or at least make her job somewhat bearable. I thought it was a funny movie with some life lessons to be learned from it. The movie also delves into what happens in a relationship when one person gets too involved in their job.
Hathaway gives a realistic performance of a geek (so to speak) and Streep’s portrayal of a devilish boss is outstanding.
4 stars

I got this DVD. Meryl Streep was fantastic. Anne Hathaway wasn't too shabby herself.

Yup Yup.  What can I say?  It's a really great movie (although my friends keep making fun of me for having it, but I don't really care what they say).  You should really watch this movie if you have the time!  Trust me, this is one of the few movies that I recommend that people watch (I don't give out a lot of recommendations).
