I hated this movie! My brother loves it and watched it a zillion times and still talking about it.
In this comedy these big shots set out to make a film about these 2 stoners life (Jay and Silent Bob). And Jay and Silent Bob get no cut what-so-ever. So they set out on a mission to destroy the movie.

You really have to like Kevin Smith in order to enjoy Jay and Silent Bob. I just watched it earlier for the millionth time. Jay and Silent Bob are classic characters that get screw*d out of likeness rights from Banky Edwards (Jason Lee), the inker of the comic book. On the way to stop the movie due to all the bad mouthing on the internet, they meet up with a group of girls that are jewel thieves. The characters are best understood after watching Clerks, Mallrats, Dogma and Chasing Amy. Granted it wasn't Smiths best film but it was a good movie with a lot of a-star actors.

| Yeah, it did have a lot of good actors and actresses in it. My oldest watched it just because Eliza Dushku was in it. Thats her favorite actress.

Dogma is a better movie, but this one has its moments. My kids really love it, teen boys so that makes sense. I enjoy watching it with them. My sons are too funny because they rather resemble Jay and Bob and so they mimic the movie as they watch it and we all laugh.

| Great film, Jason Lee reprises 2 roles and Benn Affleck reprised one and then also plays himself later in the film. Plus you got Carrie Fisher and Mark Hammil in the same film. Half the cast of American Pie was in the movie in some way.

| I loved it, but the more and more I watched it, it started to fade, but still Mewes best role as Jay.

I really enjoyed Jay and Silent Bob, I watched it one night not to long ago for the first time and laughed all the way through it I have the biggest crush on Jay and enjoy mostly all movies with the two of them.

| Jason Mewes is a cutie isnt he? I was so hoping he was going to last for a while durin Feast but no such luck...lots of Smith fans down this film and although it is not his best work it is definitelty entertaining, i prob watch it once a month.
