went to see this movie tonight. Blades of Glory is NO WHERE CLOSE to being as good as Wedding Crashers, 40 Year Old Virgin, Dodgeball or The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. Not even close.
The laughs are far between each other and most of the best lines are in the commercials and previews. The story line has a lot of potential with 2 males skating rivals coming together to skate in pairs competition after getting banned as singles skaters. There should be more laughs.
John Heder is a let down in my mind and does not stand up well next to Will Ferrell. Ferrell is doing many of the same jokes and things he has done in other films. I think this is a let down movie for him.
the best thing about the movie is real life married couple Will Arnett and Amy Poehler, who play demented brother and sister rival skaters. They are pretty funny.
My recommendation is that this is a renter.

| I thought it was pretty funny. You are right Will Arnett and Amy Poehler did rock in this, the movie is just worth seeing for them.

I enjoyed watching it.. I loved the tricks they had done on the movie and it looks like they really study how to skate perfectly like a real skaters..

Well honestly speaking I did not watched the movie yet but I want to say that I think this movie is cool because a few days ago in the middle of mid-night my friend send me a message encouraging me to watch that movie because she said it makes her laugh a lot...I think obviouly she love the movie...Can anybody give me a little backround of the movie that can encourage me to watch it...
