Amanda is a high strung American movie trailer editor that is incapable of crying & who has just found out that her long time boyfriend has been cheating on her.
Iris is an English journalist that has just found out her unrequited love is engaged to be married and didn't bother to inform her even though they are still friends.
Amanda deides she needs a "stress free" vacation so she goes to the only place she knows that can help her...."the INTERNET". Searching for a no hassle vacation on her own she discovers "house sharing" and falls in love with the picture perfect image of Iris's cottage in Surrey.
After deciding to switch homes for 2 weeks Iris & Amanda's adventures begin.
My Review: GREAT chick flick, I would think most men would enjoy it if they watched it with or without their other half.Jude Law is definitely not my favorite actor but he did an impressive job in this role, Jack Black was phenomenal, Diaz performances usually don't let me down and Winslet had never failed to impress me. 4 stars
