I was younger when this came out and I thought it was so daring and different and funny back then.  Well, it may not seem daring anymore, and it sure is no longer one of a kind, but it really is a funny movie.  if you have teens watch it with them, mine ended up loving it.

It still is "daring" and is still a brilliant comedy. The acting and comedy in this movie made all others after it possible (Van Wilder, Road Trip, etc etc etc etc)

National Lampoon's Animal House, a classic in the true sense of the word. Many of today's more recognized- by- face actors started here, the late great john belushi, tim matheson, tom hulce (amadeus), peter reigert (local hero), bruce mcgill, karen allen ... Kevin Bacon... I could go on and on.

This movie is a series of laugh vignettes from start to finish, and it 's hard to single out a single scene... let me try... the imitation of a squeezed zit in the cafeteria? any scene with dean wormer? or the bar scene in the Black club?
Otis Day and the Knights and that singing...can't
recommend this enough...

AH was released in 1978. And, as stated above, it truely is an original, a classic, a timeless comedy that still induces fits of laughter almost 30 years later!
I hope you rent it/download it, you'll love it!
