I think Martin Lawrence is the funniest I ever seen to start with, so this was not a hard choice to buy the movie. We laughed all the way thru it. It puts Mrs Doubtfire and Master of Disguises to shame! Martin is an undercover detective that has to go under as a grandma to an ex-cons exgirl that they are watching. Big Momma is the hipest ,coolest grandma around!

This was a pretty good movie but it wasn't Lawrence's best work, I liked him better in Nothing To Lose with Tim Robbins.

I don't think I ever saw part 2 and it's been so long sice I saw the original I don't remember very much other than when he sung in the church.
