Jim Carrey and Renee Zelwegger star in this Farrely brothers comedy (that imho was severly underrated) Rhode Island officer Charlie Baileygates (carrey) proves that nice guy do finish first after he marries Layla the prettiest girl in town. When Layla leaves him ( years later) for the man who drove the limo after their wedding, Charlie handles it better than expected. Than one day he snaps and we are introduced to Hank (his other personality), Hank has a filthy mouth, a bad attitude and a short fuse. When Charlie falls in love with Irene (Zelwegger) he wages war with himself and Hank for her.

| Oh man, I loved this movie. It was so hilarious! I havent watched this movie for a while, so I'll probably put it in my Netflix Queue so I can refresh and relive the laughs over again.

I always said that I'm not a Jim Carrey fan but I know a lot of his movies because my brother is a Jim Carrey fanatic....This movie is quite cool it's funny although Jim was weird....I like the girl there (Irene)....

| I believe Irene was played by Renee Zellwegger. That was one of the movies where she got her start.

I was confused at first, but when I saw it, it's hard to believed that it happens, it's hard to deal with yourself. honestly this movie is not just comedy but it is also romantic. remeber the ending of this movie?
