Clerks was Kevin Smith's first film in the view askew universe. It depicts the day in a life of convenience store workers and their friends. This is one of my favorite movies, ever since I first saw it years ago in the backroom of a convenence store after hours. They close the store to play hockey, leave for a funeral, deal with relationship issues and two stoners that sell outside the store.

Hehe, I just saw this film the other day via Netflix. This baby was hilarious. My favorite scene was when the man came to the store to use the bathroom, and he asked for the good toilet paper and good porn magazine, and he died in the toilet. Hilarious.

Even better is when Caitlyn though it was Dante. Reference to this part and Julie Dwyer dying in the pool can be found in most of Smith's films, one in particular is Chasing Amy.

This movie was awesome. This along with Chasing Amy were really the ones that turned me into the Smith nerd I am.
