Another one of Kevin Smiths great. Holden (Ben Affleck) and Banky (Jason Lee) are the creators of the Bluntman and Chronic comic book. At a convention they meet Alyssa (Joey Lauren Adams) and Holden becomes enamored of her, regardless of the fact that she is a lesbian. Holden's infatuation with Alyssa starts to threaten his relationship with her and with Banky.
This really is a great film, it will make you laugh and cry at the same time. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it.Attachment: ca.jpg (Downloaded 16 times)

| I am always coming across this in Best Buy and never pick it up. I really want to see this as I am a fan of Kevin Smith. Its so cheap and I really have no reason on why I never just go ahead and buy it. I shall really move this to the top of my to buy list.

This film is considered by many to be Kevin Smith's finest work. This movie can make me cry, and i'm not given over to tears easily. Although it seems to be about Holden and Alyssa's relationship, Holden and Banky's relationship is equally as important here. I'm going to have to see if i can find the quote that Kevin Smith had regarding that. I believe this one is more of a drama than a comedy actually, even though there are many parts that are quite funny.

I looked it up on IMDB before I posted because I was unsure where to put it. The first thing it listed was comedy so I listened to them, LOL. Watch your Evenings' with Kevin Smith again missinglink, I'm sure you will find the quote you are looking for
