EdTv is a comedy about a regular joe who consents to be on a reality show that airs all day long and records his and his familys day to day movements. Remake of 1994 Louis 19, very similar to The Truman Show but the big difference is this was funny. It wasn't fabulous and I wouldn't recommend buying it unless you rent it or catch it on tv first.

| i've seen it on tv quite sometimes...wasn't that good...and IMO being on reality TV wasn't do anything good in your personal life...it'll just create some troubles with your love ones...at first maybe we will find it great as we'll be seen on TV and be known by others...

| This movie was good, not great, and the best part about it was the relationship between Matthew McConaghey and his family, with the relationship between him and his girl friend and his one night stand not being such great plusses. Maybe it was jenna elfman? I enjoyed Matthew and Woddy Herrelson as his brother and their relationship and their chicken dance... The movie was very predictable, nothing was a surprise until Ellen Degeneres turned tail and knocked the system at the end. You and I both know that no TV executive has a stitch of integrity so the movie did not resonate with me at all.

I've seen this movie 2 times in our cable channel. I love it 'coz the movie is great. I love their "CHICKEN DANCE".... But Matthew McConaghey life changes when he accept the offer as the main character of the reality show. Many people love the reality show... hehehe just see the movie. I tell you will surely love it... ;-)
