How can a movie do bad when you have great comedians such as Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Owen Wilson, and Dick Van Dyke all star in the same film?  The answer is: You Can't!  This film was a great family film from beginning to end.  Here's my 3 point analysis about this film:

Point 1: The movie was funny, but not as funny as it could have been.  Some jokes were lame, but most of them were funny.  The movie starts off a bit slow, then suddenly speeds up once the first night at the museum begins.

Point 2: The movie is also somewhat predictable, especially if you watch a lot of Ben Stiller films.  That's okay though, because the movie was still entertaining.

Point 3: The movie has a decent amount of CGI work in it (the T-Rex).  But I think they used a perfect blend of CGI and comedy to make it work.  After all, the focus was on the whole museum coming alive as a whole.

Overall, I'd give the movie 4 out of 5 stars.  Enjoy!
