Nothing in Bruce's (Jim Carrey) life is going right, his job passes him up for a promotion which he blames on God (Morgan Freeman). Angry and frustrated after a fight with his girlfriend (Jennifer Anniston) Bruce goes driving talking out loud to God asking him for a sign. Then he crashes into a pole and gets out of his car screaming "Smite me oh mighty smiter!"God responds by pagin him repeatedly until he calls the number back which instructs him to go to an empty warehouse, when he getts there his life takes an incredible turn but whether or not it's going to be for the good remains to be seen. Great comedy 41/2 stars.
Sequel Evan Almighty trailer is in upcoming releases.

Loved the movie. Jim Carrey proves he is still funny in this movie. Steve Carrel is underrated in this movie. Can't wait to see him in Evan Almighty.

Quite a funny movie, Carrey was excellent in this one.

I found Jim Carrey really great. I have seen lots of his movies but unfortunately i have'nt seen this one...maybe when i got time i will...

I love this movie! This rocks!!! It is fun watching it especially if you haven't heard or got a clue from what the film really all about, you'll gonna laugh out loud!... Great actors and actresses, and story too..

Good movie, you can get lessons from this, but compared to Jim Carrey's past movies, Bruce Almighty is for everyone.
