Review: No matter how many years pass this movie is still funny to me. 5 stars
Plot: H.I. (Nicholas Cage) and Ed (Holly Hunter) met at jail when HI was spending most of his time, Ed was a cop. When H.I. finally got out for good, he and Ed got married looking forward to a brand new life crime free and full of babies. When Ed discovers she's barren they decided to help to themselves to one of the quintuplets that were born to furniture tycoon Nathan Arizona.

| honestly this was one of cages worst movies. the acting was horrible and the plot sucked. it was kinda a dry comedy that didnt make me laugh.

I thought this movie was a classic movie, filled with hilarity and zany moments, from the time period when Nic Cage was actually acting, like when he did red rock west and peggy sue got married (ok ignore the makeup, ok?).
It's a joel and ethan coen movie i think, and there are moments when what happens on screen is so sublime - like when the baby is kidnapped again by the guy on the bike, or anytime john goodman is on screen - that you just have to howl with glee. Hy rarely does anything right but it all works out in the end, like getting arrested by the woman who becomes his wife.
We have watched this about 30 times in total.

| We have this DVD still in the shrink wrap, I was thinking of watching it the other day. I guess I shall finally give in and give it a go.

| already heard about this one, but haven't watched it. a friend of mine told me, it was a good movie.
