The 2nd installment in the Star Wars series has Luke training on Dagobah with Jedi Master Yoda while Leia, Han Solo, and Chewie are on their way to Bespin to seek help/shelter from Han Solo's old but shifty friend Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams)  who unbeknowst to Solo has made a deal with the Empire to hand off Leia, Solo, and Chewie to Darth Vader (he wants them to lure Luke). While training Luke recieves a vision from Obi-Wan telling him that his friends are in danger, Luke heads off to resuce his friends and has a run in/ duel with Vader where he learns a terrible family secret.

SPOILER ALERT***************Don't Keep Reading if you haven't seen the movies

Vader is Luke's father who turned to the Dark side when he was younger.

Oh boy, I remember when I watched this movie the first time on tape, i was shocked.  Well, I was a kid when I first watched this (about 10 years old), but still, it was just nuts!

Lucas set it so everyone would be blown away by the revelation that Vader was his dad and he was on the dark side. I was like, WTF?

Exactly!  That was just awesome how he set the whole thing up.  One of the best plot twists in a movie ever!

I'm going to reveiw the next one later today, even if you expected Vader being Luke's father,  I was in no way prepared for the next revelation.

The next revelation was even crazier!  Well, it was crazy, and kind of sick at the same time, but still, it was nuts!
