22 years after episode 4, episode 1 came out in theaters and the story Begins.
Jedi Warrior Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson) and his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) are on an adventure to save the planet of Naboo from the Evil Trade Federation, accompanying them on their journey is young queen Amidala (Natalie Portman), Gungan outcast Jar Jar Binks and Captain Panaka. They are traveling to Tatooine and Coruscant in a futile attempt to save their world from Darth Sidous (leader of the trade) and Darth Maul (Ray Park), the strongest dark sith to wield a lightsaber. Along their journey, they encounter a small boy by the name of Anakin Skywalker who Obi-Wan feels has great potential as a Jedi believing that he is the one that will bring balance to the force.
