I think this is silly wanting Harry Poter books off the shelf at school. Can't parents controll thier own kids any more? You don't want them reading Harry Potter then tell them so!!

I kind of understand why they don't like them, some believe it promotes witchcraft. Makes kids see witchcraft in a goodway. But no matter peoples personal beliefs they shouldnt force thier beliefs on the rest of the world.
Harry Potter is meant for entertainment and just that.

I agree. See, a few years ago, I worked in a school library. We had to put age restrictions on some books, just so parents wouldn't get made at us. And I really hate the banned books thing. Most of my favorite books are on it. Including all of the Harry Potter books.
