Don't get me wrong. By looking at the title of this post, you'd think I hate Harry Potter. In fact, it's on the contrary. I love Harry Potter. However, I do have some gripes, especially with the book Half Blood Prince.
Warning* - If you havent read the books, and you plan to read them, and you want to be surprised, don't read the following cause they contain spoilers.
My biggest gripe is that Harry will end up with Ginny Weasley (if he survives in Deathly Hallows). He falls in love with her, out of nowhere. I really thought Harry should have ended up with Hermoine. That makes perfect sense. Even worse though, Hermoine will end up with Ron. Personally, I hate Ron's character. In the book, he's the one always arguing, especially with Hermoine and Harry, and he gets jeolous of Harry a lot. Even worse, Ron and Hermoine seem like they despise one another. I can understand that sometimes opposites attract, but come on! In Half Blood Prince, these 2 are using magic spells against one another to throw forks and have birds poke their eyes out (literally!). Pairing up Hermoine and Ron doesn't make any sense.
What also doesnt make sense to me is why Harry and Cho didn't get together in Order of the Phoenix. Cho decided to stand up for her friend (who was a jerk, btw), and Harry wouldn't allow it. What gets me is that Harry's best friend Ron is a bigger jerk (in my opinion). Both of these characters should have realized they had horrible best friends and moved on without them. But I guess that's just wishful thinking.
I hope I don't make anyone angry with those post, as it wasn't my intention. I'm just giving my opinion on a few things about this great series. What does everyone think?

| i too is a fan of Harry Potter though i love the book rather than the movie as theres a lot of important thing missing on the it but i still watch it because of Daniel Radcliffe...hahaha...i already though of this that Rowling will make a twist as many authors done so but not in the romantic side of Harry Potter...hahaha...i do preferred Hermione to be Harry's partner but what is done is done...Rowling much prepare Ginny rather than Hermione and maybe Rowling can't think of someone to end up with Ron as the Patil twins will not say yes about it(think what happened to the Yule ball)...hahaha....what do you think???

| Yeah, I wish Ron would end up with anyone else, and I mean anyone else other than Hermoine. I really wished she would have put Harry and Hermoine together, but you said it best, what is done is done. I'm just hoping the last book comes out great. Theres so many things to write/talk about and things she needs to conclude, I don't know how she will put it all in one book. I heard a rumor that Deathly Hollows will be released on 7.7.07, since it is the 7th and last book in the series, but we'll have to see.

**Spoiler Alert**
I think that since Harry broke up with Cho for a good reason (which is so rare that I could not even believe it) and went out with Ginny and then broke up with her for an even better reason it made him almost unbelievablyl mature. The rub with this is that nothing else about Harry would lead you to believe this, especially his behavior in the Order of the Phoenix and the Half-Blood Prince. So I am holding out hope that all this was done so that Harry could live and grow up and end up with Herione after SHE breaks up with Ron.
