This is the movie and book that started off the whole Harry Potter phenomenom.  The book revolves around a boy named Harry Potter, who currently lives with the Dursley's, a horrid family that treats Harry unwell.  However, one day, a giant man named Hagrid, who introduces him into the magic world.

Harry is taken to Hogwarts, which is a school that teaches magic to children.  Here, Harry meets Dumbledore, who is headmaster of Hogwarts, and he meets good friends, namely Ron Weasley and Hermoine Granger.  However, magic isn't all about good, as there are some dark things to worry about.  For example, Harry doesn't get off to a great start with his Potions professor, Severus Snape.  Not only that, but there's something about Snape that Harry doesn't like, and Snape doesn't like him either.  Harry also builds a rivalry that is sure to grow with the horrid Draco Malfoy.  Even worse, Harry founds out about the real murderers of his parents.  His name is Lord Voldemort, and he is the main villian of this series.

They are a lot of magical events that take place in this fantasy tale, such as the game of quidditch, but the best part of the movie was the ending.  The trio of Harry, Hermoine, and Ron had to solve puzzles in order to get the sorcerer's stone back.  At the end, Harry finds out who has betrayed them, and that Lord Voldemort, the man responsible for his parent's death, is still alive (but just barely).

Just sat and watched This 1 all the way thru with miss Lydia, she insisted. bart.gif

It was o.k. for the most part, The all flavored jelly beans was nasty! Earwax? Yuck! Puke?? Who wants those flavors? A chocolate frog that hops away before you can eat it? The feast was pretty sweet though!

I felt bad for poor Harry Potter living with those wretched kin folks! They where mean, it was funny when Harry made the glass on the snake cage invisible and his cousin fell through.
