My Lydia had a bike accident today. Was pretty bad. She tore open her knee, had 2 long cuts and a huge scrape and few knicks and her kneecap is black and swelled. Blood was everywhere. Her daddy freaked out. Says every time she goes to someones house she comes home all banged up. So he grounded her for the rest of spring break!
That lasted all of 3 hours! Her sister wants her to come spend the rest of the week with her. And I told him to take her! lol
He ranted and fussed till he made Lydia cry. I had to tell him to chill out, that didnt work so I got U.G.L.Y.! She is 9 yrs old! And a tomboy to boot!
I told her she could go, so for 1 to get away from him till her leg heals up a bit, every time he looks at her he gets crazy. He locked his self in the bedroom for about an hour or so after she 1st came home.

| Well parents are always protective abt their children , i remember when i was small , while palying in the park i used to cut my feet many times and then my parents would not allow me to go there , and only allowed me when they made me feel that i need to take care .

| Wow. it sounds like u have ur hands full, Lydia probably took the fall better than Daddy did, that usually how it works when Daddy is overprotective. I'm glad she's ok and i guess u could look at it as a week break, lol.

| The plan was for her to come eat lunch with me at work at 11:30 but he took her at 9. So she text messaged my friend and told on daddy, so I would be mad with him when I got home. She keeping her mommy and daddy seperate and aint even here. lil plotter!

| Smart kid. Sounds like a terror. My brother and his wife just had their first baby- a girl, yay- and if the way he treated Elen during the pregnancy, and the way he's acted the past four months since her birth- he'll be just the same as your husband.

| For me much better if your parents are over protective because its for your own sake.And your lucky if you have a parent like that because it cares for you a lot and no one will mess with you.
