Big cast that includes Jude Law, Kate Winslet, James Gandolfini, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins (and more). All do a nice job adapting the 1946 classic Pulitzer Prize winning novel.

Worth renting. There is some southern slang that will be hard to understand if you have never experienced it, haha.

All The King’s Men is based on the Robert Penn Warren Pulitzer prize winning novel. The film follows the story of Southerner Willie Stark (who is loosely based on Governor Huey Long of Louisiana) and his employee Jack Burden. The film has a great plot but the biggest downfall is how slow it moves. I don’t mind movies that are slow as long as they keep me interested and this one did that.
