WAY more drama then comedy. this slowly moving look at an IRS agent's life, which is really being narrated by a famous author is a very interesting film. Touching in parts and heartfelt, you really start to like the character played by Will Ferrell, who is great in this movie.
I was surprised at how much I believed him in the more serious role then you are accustomed to seeing him in.
Duston Hoffman is good also as a professor who helps him figure it all out and Emma Thompson is real good as the author writing the story.
I would recommend renting this movie, but know going in that it is NOT Elf.

| This movie was sensational. What I loved most about it was that movie was one of those serious comedy's, not one of those laugh out loud ones (I do love those laugh out loud ones too). It was different, something we haven't seen before. Not to mention there were plenty of great acting performances from the likes of Will Ferrel, Dustin Hoffman, and Emma Thompson. This is a definate must see.

| Stranger Then Fiction was one of the best films I have seen of 2006. The performances were phenomenal and the story was amazing. Everyone who hasn't seen it needs to.. 5 stars.
