I so want to see this, I am so glad that Adam Sandler is starting to do more serious roles, I really loved him in Spanglish and Click. I can not wait to see this one as well, I have a feeling Im going to be crying my eyes out on this one too.
wow, what an emotional movie. it is a drama's drama. very slow at times, but always emotionally draining and powerful. Don Cheadle is incredible as always, but Adam Sandler really steals the movie as the emotionally crushed man who lost his wife, daughters and dog in 9/11 plane crashes. the movie is NOT at all about 9/11 and 100% about the man and how his old life has changed, been destroyed and how he is barely living now.
It is an amazing movie and worth renting. Just remember. This is not an action movie. It has a few humorous moments, but it is not a comedy. It is a hard core drama.
Reign Over Me is a film about love and how although it can cause the worst pain imaginable, it can also save us from regret and allow us to once again see the world as a place of beauty and hope.
