Chistian Bale has been in MANY good movies, like American Psyco, Batman Begins, etc - but this is his best role, no question. How he did not win awards for this movie is completely 100% beyond me.
The movie follows 2 friends in South Central and the endless violence, crime and drugs they encounter. It is VERY hard to watch and emotionally draining right to the very end. Freddy Rodriguez is also incredible.
With all seriousness, THIS MOVIE IS BETTER THEN TRAINING DAY, BY A MILE. I highly recommend it.
