My husband is a Western fan, I don't paticularly like it, but will watch John Wayne.

Liberty Valance is a hired gunman by some wealthy cattlemen not wanting statehood. There where some that where fighting for statehood. They all rumble and tumble and got romance and everything. It was a flashback start at the begining, very good for their time.

My favorite line "Nohings too good for the man that shot Liberty Valance"
