runtime 115

This young street dancer DJ (Columbus Short) is taken away from his home after his brother Duron (Chris Brown)was killed after a dance compitition. He goes to live with his aunt and uncle and goes to college and learns of new dance style called stomp the yard. He isnt really into it at first, he likes battle stepping. He meets a hottie April (Meagan Good) and tries everything to win her over from her mean boyfried Grant (Darrin Hensen).

The movie is great! The storyline is great! And dancing is fantastic!! It also teaches you about self confidence, being a team player, never give up on your dreams and never let anyone else tell you what you can or cant be.

It was an interesting movie and I would say a pretty good renter. I will say that I am very happy that I did not see this in the theaters.
The dancing is very good. the story is very similar to many,,,,many other movies.
