Couldn't think of where to put this, it has drama, action, missadventure a little humor and whetever, lol. My brother watched this at least 100 times or more, he memorized every word in the movie. I had never really gotten into war movies untill this 1, it was great.
It is like in 2 parts, basecamp and then war time. Not a moment to breath in bewtween, very fast pased action and drama and everything else I said. You get wraped up in the lives of these young men.You learn to hate the sargent and then love him, lol.

There were some seriously fuc*ed up parts in this movie. "What is your major malfunction numbnuts?"

This is one of Stanley Kubrick's finest. Then again was has Kubrick done that isn't good (the man was a genius imo...yes, even Eyes Wide Shut). He has taken many books and put them into film, adding his own personal touch to each. This one runs the gamut though: action, war, humor, drama, basically you name it, this flick has it!

| love that movie. i wasnt much for war movies either until this one. i also agree that there were some pretty messed up parts in it. all in all it is a great movie.
