A thrilling high speed adventure with mysteruious twistsand turns. Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom star in this hit. Capt Jack Sparrow (Depp) life goes awry after havinga mutiny on his ship led by Capt Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush). Barbossa and his crew attack Port Royal and kidnap Elizabeth Swann (Knightley) and her childhood freind Will Turner (Bloom) teams up with Sparrow to try and get Elizabeth and the ship back.
Great movie, highly recommended. Depp plays an inebriated but smart pirate.
When watching let the credits play all the way through or you will miss a scene that is somewhat important.

| This original movie in the series was, at worst, phenomenal. Who knew a movie about Pirates would be a big success?

| I really like Johnny Depp... I love his acting here and nice film... I enjoyed watching it more than the second one even though there are unusual characters, but I also like it...

I agree, Depp was outstanding here, I can't picture anyone else fulfilling the role the way he did. Overall, definitely a great flick.
