Depp, Bloom and Knightley reprise their roles is a sequel that got mixed reviews all around. Some loved it and some harted it, dh and I watched it last night when we got home and thought it was awesome. Capt Sparrow made a deal with the devil of the sea-Davy Jones and now he must repay his debt. Jack is not going down without a fight and must find a way to keep his soul which is doomed to a hundred years of service to Jones. Meanwhile back in Port Royal both Turner and Swann about to be wed are taken into custody for aiding Sparrow in his previous escape. Turner is offered a deal to find Jack and bring back one of his personal items for freedom. Knightley and Turner get caught up in Sparrows misadventorous quest to avoid eternal damnation by seizing the fabled Dead Man's Chest.
They left off with the opening for a third movie which is in post production.

| I bought this on DVD on preorder via Amazon. Great movie. The movie was almost 3 hours long, but it didn't feel that way. Time really flew in this movie. Can't wait for "At World's End."

| Me too. Just gotta wait for At Worlds End this summer. Hopefully they also finalize and announce that they will make a 4th Pirates.

| Yeah, thats what I heard too. I'm guessing that she will come back, but if she doesn't, it would definately suck.

| I guess they could find a way to eliminate her in the third film so she can't return in part 4. Maybe she will have to give her life to Davy Jones.

| thats true. That would suck a lot though. I'm also thinking that the 4th movie could be a prequel. Maybe back to when Jack Sparrow met Davy jones for the first time and became a pirate for the first time. That would be cool too.

| I think that is a great idea for the fourth film, it could cover the cursed gold and the mutany. I would watch it.

I thought this movie was awesome, and had a hard time recognizing people under their makeup it was soooo good. Johnnie Depp plays Jack like a crazy man on weed, and does a really great job in this movie of giving him heart and courage and humanity which I think is hard to do in a sequel.
It was a pleasure to watch both the movie and Jack Sparrow's humanity unfold and I really look forward to the next installment.
I'd like to know how this gallant, broken character came to be!
