Old story, but a good movie.
Based on a true story, The Rock plays a juvenile detention center prison leader who sees the kids who come through during his watch going no where and just returning to crime time and time again. So he looks for alternate ways to get through to them and get them to learn to care for others and be part of something bigger then crime, gangs, and jail - so he starts a football team and convinces the criminals to care about each other - and succeeding in life.
It is an old formula, but I liked this movie. It is not an academy award winner, but it is an enjoyable one to watch and the Rock is good on screen with costar Xzibit.
Good renter!

I really enjoyed this film, it had a lot of heart. Despite the fact that as TVDinner said it is an old formula I thought it worked incredibly well. 4 stars from me
