Will definately have to watch this again soon. Love Tom Hanks. Bet he made a lot from this movie? Seeing he was in it by his self for the most part.
He played the part of a fedx man who crashed on a deserted Island. He had absolutely no one to talk to for like 4 yrs. He had a few packages with some very basic suplies he found a way to use. He even made a friend out of a ball and talked to it. He was a true survivor!

How can I forget Wilson?
This is one of my top ten movies of all time!

I never saw this film, I heard it was bad, but many of you have recommended it to me so now I don't see any other choice but to check it out.

whenever i heard the movie cast away, i always remember the ball that he named wilson :D
i love this movie, though the ending is not so good :D

I liked this movie. Sure, there was basically only one actor in this movie for most of the time, but the movie was great due to great story. It wasn't just about a man being stuck on an island (named Chuck Noland - get it? "No Land"). It was about his struggle to survive for the women he loved. It's about not giving up when all hope is lost, and letting go of the past in order to move forward with your own life. There's definately a lot of things you can learn about life by just watching this movie.

| i love this movie!... this is one of favorites on Tom's films... I was really touched and inspired by this movie... Great acting from Tom Hanks!
