I was determined from the start to hate this movie. I love the original Walking Tall and thought this was gonna be a crappy remake. I was wrong! They kept some of the same story line but added and took away to make a whole new movie not based on Sheriff Buford Pusser.
The Rock played Chris Vaughn who has just returned home from the military to find his hometown over run with crime. He makes it his mission to save his town from all the crap that is going down. He kicks butt as you would expect and is great at it!
